用心听对方说话Listening with Care

我发现我老公有两个特别好的优点。

Wǒ fāxiàn wǒ lǎogōng yǒu liǎng ge tèbié hǎo de yōudiǎn.

I realized that my husband has two especially good qualities.

第一个是他会记得我跟他说过的事情。这也是我们约会的时候，我对他印象深刻的原因之一。当我第二次提到这件事的时候，他会说：“我记得这件事。”这只是一个小细节，但是说明他有在认真听我说话。

The second good quality is that he is curious about the things I care about. I like watching stand-up comedy. Although he cannot understand Chinese programs, he will ask me, “How are this year’s shows? Are they good? Do you like them?” He likes watching MMA (mixed martial arts). Although I am not very interested, I have also learned to ask him how the fights are.
